Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.... Matthew 6:33

Philippians 3:12b-14
...but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Escape the Mustard Tree
Why “Escape the Mustard Tree”?
You may be wondering why someone would produce yet another Christian website. Great question!
This website is here because most “churches” today are not informing their congregation the things they need to know to have the closest possible relationship with Jesus Christ. Instead, most church leaders are content to take advantage of our innate human nature to just let someone else tell us what to think and what to do. They tell their congregation what they think the Scriptures mean, and the congregation for the most part takes it all in without question, acting more like “sheeple” than the servants and sons of God we're called to be.
Yet, among most “churches” there are some people who feel there is something more to being a Christian than just "going to church” on Sundays... something more than just singing a few songs and hearing a couple of jokes told by the pastor, followed by a brief message on how to be a better person, usually with just a couple of Bible verses thrown in. There are some people out there who leave their Sunday morning service knowing that something is lacking.
Many new Christians ask themselves, “Okay, I’m saved, what now?” They start going to Bible studies where they do find fellowship, and then do a study (or watch a video) on how to be a better person, again with just a few Bible verses thrown in. And yet again leave knowing that something is lacking. They want more but there’s no one to guide them on what to do or where to go.
Is that you? If so, you’re not alone.
Learning what is in the Bible and what God is offering you through Jesus Christ is so important! Most “churches” today are not teaching you how to study God’s Word, but learning how to study the Bible allows you to see and understand God’s plans and promises for yourself.
We are here to help those people out there with seeking hearts who know there is more to being a Christian than what “the mustard tree” provides. We want to show you that your personal walk with Jesus Christ can and should be exciting and rewarding. We want to show you how the Scriptures can truly come alive, revealing something new every time you open them up. After all, the Scriptures are God’s Words speaking to you.
